This privacy policy explains how Bante SARL ("Mirra", "we") collects and uses your personal data when you visit our website or buy from us. It is written in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

Order data: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, items ordered, order history.
Payment data: processed directly by our payment providers (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal). We never see or store your full card details.
Account and newsletter data: email address, name, preferences, if you create an account or subscribe.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our cookie policy).
Communications: the content of your messages when you contact us.

3. Why we use your data

To process, ship and follow up your orders, returns and refunds (performance of a contract).
To answer your questions and provide customer service (performance of a contract / legitimate interest).
To send you our newsletter and offers, only if you agreed (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
To measure and improve our website and, with your consent, to show you relevant ads (consent / legitimate interest).
To comply with our legal obligations, for example accounting and tax rules (legal obligation).

4. Who we share your data with

We only share your data with service providers who need it to run our shop: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment providers, our logistics and fulfilment partner and the carriers who deliver your parcel, our email service and, with your consent, analytics and advertising partners (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok). Some of these providers are located outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area (for example in the United States or in China for order fulfilment). In that case we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Swiss and European authorities. We never sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

Order and accounting data are kept for 10 years as required by Swiss law. Newsletter data are kept until you unsubscribe. Other data are deleted when they are no longer needed.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise your rights, write to contact@mirrajewels.shop. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, with your local data protection authority.
